How Do We Collect Your Personal Data?
We handle your personal data with the utmost care. All personal data collected from website users is private and confidential.
- We collect personal data through the booking form, where users enter all relevant information needed to process their reservation and deliver the requested service.
- We also collect personal data when users fill out the newsletter subscription form.
- Personal data is collected physically upon guest check-in at the hotel reception.
- Additionally, the website collects certain technical data, such as the user’s IP address, which is recorded when subscribing to the newsletter (used solely as proof of user consent).

What Personal Data Is Collected?
Through the booking form, we collect:
- First name, last name, phone number, email, and country;
- Company details (if the reservation is made for a company);
- Credit card details (type, holder name, number, expiration date);
- Guest stay details: check-in/check-out dates, service type, special offer selection, requests, and preferences;
- An optional checkbox to subscribe to promotional newsletters.
For newsletter subscription, we collect:
- First name, last name, email address, selected language, subscription date/time, and IP address.
For event inquiries, we collect:
- All details related to the event (contact info, name, company address, event start/end time, duration, number of attendees, accommodation needs, and required services).
At hotel check-in:
- Guest’s first and last name, country, birth date, type of ID, and personal ID number.
Purpose of Personal Data Use
- All data from the booking form is used to process your reservation and for communication regarding the provision of our services. This includes transactional emails related to the confirmed booking.
- Email addresses obtained via newsletter signup or the booking form checkbox are used to send promotional materials via our email marketing platform. Name and language data help tailor the newsletter experience.
- Event inquiry data is used to prepare event, meeting, or conference offers at our hotel.
- Data collected at reception is necessary for fulfilling legal obligations.
Legal Basis for Processing
- Booking form: Fulfillment of legal obligations of the controller.
- Newsletter subscription: Personal consent.
- Event inquiry: Fulfillment of contractual obligations.
- Reception check-in: Fulfillment of contractual and legal obligations.
Data Retention Period
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or until the individual withdraws consent. Upon written withdrawal of consent, data is deleted.
Video Surveillance
Turizem Bellevue Portorož d.o.o. uses video surveillance to monitor entries and exits at its premises and immediate surroundings at Strma pot 7, 6320 Portorož.
The purpose is to ensure the safety of people (staff and guests), protect property, secure workspaces, control access, and investigate criminal activity. The legal basis is legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and Articles 76+ of ZVOP-2.
Some indoor areas (e.g. hallways) may be monitored if necessary for safety, protection of classified data, or trade secrets. Video recordings help in identifying and resolving incidents, crimes, damage claims, or other issues.
Recordings are kept for a minimum of 20 days and a maximum of one year.
The surveillance does not involve unusual processing, third-country transfers, or affect data subjects beyond the scope outlined. Live viewing is available.
